While my mom was here last month we made a little trip over to Holland... Michigan, that is. It's on the coast of Lake Michigan, so we checked out the beach first. My mom was amazed at how much it was just like the ocean. In the town you'll find little village areas that mimic the real Holland, but we didn't have a lot of time to explore other than a few shops. This time of year you don't see the tulips but I hear they are fantastic in the spring.
