Monday Mountains

It was our first day to get out and play together! The weather was good, so we took the scenic drive up the coast to Lutsen Mountains. Being Ella's first time on a ski lift. I thought she might be scared but she loved it. The alpine slide was a blast, although a bit pricey for 8 people who all wanted to go more than just once

After that, on to Gooseberry Falls. It was getting late so we didn't spend a lot of time, just enough to get wet and explore a bit. Fortunately, no leeches this time!

Betty's Pies was on the way home so we stopped in to get some. A glance at the menu told us they were $18 each... so we decided to just get some at the grocery store (for $5 each). It was my attempt to return to frugality, after splurging on all those rides...
